Geraldo Thomaz is VTEX’s co-CEO and founder. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), he was one of the responsibles for the development of VTEX’s platform, that was build to provide the infrastructure for global commerce. The platform evolves fast (with an average of 14k updates per year) and allow clients to manage their stores focusing on their businesses needs, not worrying about technology.

Mariano Gomide de Faria, mechanical engineer graduated from UFRJ, has 20 years of experience in digital commerce. He founded VTEX (www.vtex.com) in 2000 together with his college friend Geraldo Thomaz. Mariano is a scholar of the digital market and his name appears in lectures at events around the world such as IRX in UK, Shoptalk in Copenhagen, eShow in Barcelona, among others. Director of the digital transformation course at the European Institute for eCommerce Management, an institute based at the Moller Center, Cambridge University, works with entities and associations for the dissemination of digital knowledge.

Leticia Tonholo, graduated in applied mathematics at Ecole polytechnique in France, currently working on business development of financial solutions for e-commerce at VTEX.

Marcos Pueyrredon has developed his career in multinational companies in the area of planning and marketing having within his responsibilities the implementation policies of eBusiness. He is a distinguished businessman in the ICT Information and Communication Technologies industry in Latin America and a reference to the digital economy in the region. He studied Business Administration and Marketing with Postgraduate Management of eBusiness and a Specialization in Electronic Business Management from the University of Salvador USAL Dual Degree with Georgetown University and has a Masters in Business Administration MBA with concentration in Digital Business at USAL & The State University of New York SUNY At the private level is the Global VP Hispanic market of VTEX.

Bianca Aichinger leads the Customer Success area in Brazil, which is responsible for VTEX’s Key Accounts Growth.
Bianca got to VTEX in November of 2018, after spending 3 years ahead of Whirlpool Brazil’s Digital Transformation Initiative. Prior to working at Whirlpool, Bianca built a solid career in product merchandising both in retail and in eCommerce in renowned companies such as Apple and Walmart, both in Brazil and abroad. Bianca holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University os São Paulo, a Master’s degree in Marketing from UPMF in Grenoble (France), and a certificate degree in Management from Harvard University.

Gabriel Cabrera is Regional Director of Digital Acceleration initiatives for Consumer Electronic Products at Sony Latin America Inc. In this capacity, he oversees activities related to the commercialization of Sony’s products thru own online channels and for managing digital marketing campaigns to support own and e-tailers digital vanities. He joined Sony in 2004. Thru his time in the company, he has supported and furtherly designed the expansion of Sony’s direct business Online in 7 countries as well as the deployment of several solutions for CRM. Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and Administration from Mexico’s ITESM and a certificate in Digital Analytics from MIT. Currently live in the Republic of Panama, Panama.

Julian Cecchi, Head of Customer Experience at VTEX for the region of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. He has a Master’s Degree in eBusiness and Digital Marketing at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and two specializations in Electronic Business Management and Operation at the Universidad del Salvador (USAL). He is Director of the Mobile Commission of the Argentine Chamber of Electronic Commerce (CACE). He was responsible for the initial expansion of VTEX throughout the Latam region. Carina Blaas holds the position of Head of Sales at Professional Services Area in VTEX. Responsible for the growth and sustainability of the department, guiding the team to become a reference voice for the e-commerce market and to share knowledge with our clients and partners to leverage the outcome of a project. For the last 12 years, has specialized in digital marketing, managing projects and campaigns related to mobile applications, website development, UX, digital content for social networks and recently e-commerce, for clients such as Coca-Cola, SCJohnson, Boticário, Whirlpool, GlaxoSmith, Paramount, OLX, Air France, Sony, Vivo, Ipiranga, among others. Passionate for real challenges, digital transformation projects, sales growth, and for helping clients to increase their businesses. Carina has graduated in Business Administration from PUC-Rio University with specialization in Marketing and with an MBA in Project Management.

Leonardo Santos is CEO and Founder of Indeva (recently acquired by VTEX), a SaaS platform that enhances physical retailing results. Business administrator with MBA in project management from FGV. Solid experience (+12 years) in the areas of information systems, payment gateways, business management with digital solutions and sales strategies applied to online channels. Mauricio de Sousa began his career as an illustrator in the region of Mogi das Cruzes, near Santa Isabel, where he was born.
